Swift AI Deepfake: Twitter Reacts

Twitter has responded to the circulation of pornographic AI images of Taylor Swift on its platform by temporarily limiting searches for the star. The move comes after Twitter’s safety team warned users that the company has a “zero-tolerance policy” for non-consensual nudity. The explicit images have attracted the attention of politicians and the White House, with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre describing them as “very alarming.” The Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), of which Swift is a member, has called for legislation to prevent the development and dissemination of fake explicit images without consent.
