In a post on X, Schwartz shared a screenshot of an email from the scammers, claiming to be from the OpenSea team and informing the recipient that their NFT had received a bid. The email included a link that would redirect the recipient to a fake OpenSea page where their details would be stolen. Schwartz confirmed that hovering over the link revealed it to be a SurveyMonkey link, confirming its scam nature. This scam has been ongoing for some time, with other users reporting similar emails. The prevalence of scams in the crypto industry continues to grow as the industry gains more adoption.
